WHAT IS FLAT BACK LABRET?
Flat Back Labret earrings have a screw on the bottom of the charm. The earring is secured by twisting the charm onto the post.
The earring is worn by inserting the post from behind the piercing, then the charm is secured onto the post from the front of the piercing.
POST LENGTH
Our Flat Back Labret earrings are available in 4 different post lengths. As every ear and piercing is unique, the post length will vary from each person however 6mm is typically the most popular length for the lobe and cartilage piercings.
GAUGE SIZE
Gauge refers to the post thickness. 16G (1.2mm) is our thickest post option. 18G (1.00mm) is typically the standard thickness and fits majority of piercings.
Traditional stud earrings are 20G (0.8mm). Cartilage earring posts typically are a little thicker!
HOW TO FIND YOUR POST LENGTH
1. Insert stud
2. Mark the piercing depth
3. Measure the length
POPULAR PIERCING LENGTHS
- Helix: 5-8mm
- Forward Helix: 4.5-6mm
- Conch: 8-10mm
- Upper Lobe: 4.5-6mm
- Lobe: 4.5-8mm
HOW TO WEAR
1. Insert insertion pin
2. Insert the flat back post
3. Hold the post, twist to secure
